A Carboeira, Monfero (545 m).

It offers one of the most beautiful views of the Fragas do Eume: the reservoir surrounded by oak and chestnut forests.

Eume Canyon, A Capela (450 m).

From this point you can see the Eume Canyon and the entire municipality of Monfero. The Eume Canyon is the Park’s nature reserve area. It consists of vertical granite rock walls located between the Eume dam and the Ventureira power station.

Pena do Teixo, Monfero (540 m).

The views overlook the Eume reservoir and the municipality of A Capela.

Pena Cavada, Monfero (605 m).

This is the ideal place to sense where the River Eume ends its 80 km course, at the Ártabro Gulf. From here you can see an important stretch of the coastline between Ferrol and A Coruña, as well as the canyon and the reservoir.
